Brett Titus
CEO

Brett began his life of serving and protecting in 1989 when he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After an honorable discharge, he hired on with the Denver Police Department in 1993.

After six years as a patrol officer, Brett was assigned to the Department’s full-time METRO SWAT/K9 Unit in 1999 until his retirement in 2019.  

He has deployed and participated in over 2800 high-risk tactical operations with several hundred of those ending in critical life and death incidents. As the creator of an internationally recognized SWAT/K9 training program, Brett has trained and provided lectures to over 8000 Police, SWAT and K9 officers around the country. He has also shared his life experiences with several thousand citizens to better educate them on becoming safer and more prepared for a crisis event.

Chris Griego
Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Chris Griego is responsible for building the operating foundation for the LifeSpot business across all key functional groups to prepare the company for accelerated growth. 

 

Chris is deeply passionate about technology’s role in solving real-world problems and has a track record of unlocking and accelerating enterprise value creation in fast-paced environments. He brings deep experience in SaaS, marketing, marketplace and internet technology business models helping mature and modernize organization so that businesses can grow faster and profitably while most importantly, delivering an increasingly delightful and innovative customer experience. 

 

Before joining LifeSpot, he was Chief Operating Officer at TaskEasy, a high-growth venture-backed home services marketplace. During his tenure, he helped transform the company’s operations and re-architected several business functions helping the company achieve EBITDA profitability and establish itself as a leading proptech innovator. He played a key role on the executive team helping in the company’s acquisition by a global SaaS leader in October 2023. Prior to that, he was a VP at Closetbox, a venture-backed valet storage business, helping scale the demand and supply sides of a disruptive player in the self-storage space. Prior to that, he was at Useful Systems helping that seed-stage mobile job management software company raise capital and framework, staff and execute a go-to-market strategy. Before that, he was at HomeAdvisor (ANGI HomeServices) for 10 years where he built many of the modern business development, partnerships, advertising and sponsorships functions that still exist today.

 

Chris has a Bachelor of Finance and a MBA from the University of Colorado.

Leslie McClanen
VP of Operations

Leslie grew up in Littleton, Colorado raised by entrepreneurial parents for a startup tech company.  To leverage a comprehensive understanding of dedication and commitment, "Aim High', she joined the USAF out of high school. After 4yrs in the military, and receiving an undergraduate degree in criminal justice she hired on with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in 1998.  In 2004, Leslie met Brett and by 2008 they were already working together developing programs and training seminars for law enforcement and military personnel specializing in further education.  With her entire professional career centered around interpersonal skills and customer service, she prefers behind the scenes support of the day-to-day operations.

 

Leslie believes that Brett's personal and professional expertise that was the mastermind behind LifeSpot will empower individuals to focus, think realistically, be present, and take action in a crisis situation to make themselves or others safer and increase survivability.  

 

 

   

Jeff Scaturro
Director of Software Engineering

Jeff is a dedicated software engineer with a passion for leveraging technology to create meaningful solutions. With a degree in Computer Science and a wealth of experience in software development, he brings valuable expertise to the LifeSpot team.

 

Having worked in various software engineering roles prior to joining LifeSpot, Jeff has contributed to the design and development of numerous projects. He has honed his skills in a range of programming languages, with a particular focus on Flutter, which he has mastered since its inception. Jeff strongly believes in the transformative power of mobile technology in shaping the future of safety and preparedness.

 

With a genuine commitment to innovation and a deep understanding of software engineering principles, Jeff is dedicated to supporting LifeSpot's mission. He is motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the safety and preparedness of individuals and communities.
