How LifeSpot Works
01 ALERT
In the event of an active shooter threat, your staff, colleagues, teachers, or any LifeSpot app user can send an alert from their smartphone with one swipe of a button. There are no codes to memorize or number of button presses to count like other alert systems.
02 NOTIFICATION
This alert simultaneously notifies law enforcement, 911 dispatch, Fire and EMS, plus all other LifeSpot users assigned to their geo-fenced location within seconds. No other system is faster.
03 LOCATION
The app immediately shows law enforcement, and the LifeSpot users, the approximate location of the shooter, including the building, wing, and floor number. This enables police to get to the threat faster.
04 COMMUNICATION
The LifeSpot app provides messaging capability between LifeSpot users and law enforcement. This allows critical information to be communicated even in situations where the users are not able to speak outloud, or 911 is overloaded.
05 INJURY STATUS
LifeSpot users can mark themselves or others around them as injured, giving law enforcement the necessary information to send medical help faster and to the correct location.
06 IDENTIFICATION
If your organization utilizes armed staff members, law enforcement is made aware of who they are and their location at the time of the threat, minimizing the chance of crossfire, or mistaking a security officer for the shooter.
07 REUNIFICATION
LifeSpot communication tools allow law enforcement commanders to reunify LifeSpot users in a more efficient, and safe manner.
